During the incident, crews had to re-position attack lines because of the risk of collapse in side A and B of the garage structure.

 

Co. 4 responded with 3 trucks and 10 units, shown here is Rescue 6 also on scene were Engine 5 and Engine 1 from Paden City and Engine 207 and Ops 201 from New Martinsville

In order to prevent any flare up of fire, the vehicle was removed from the garage and hosed down, the remaining structure was also knocked down to prevent any further damage to the residence that may be caused by a collapse.

 

 

 

 

 

This view shows how close the neighboring house was to the fire.  A quick response by Co. 4 units prevented the exposure from becoming well involved with flames.
