| Structure Fire in New Martinsville |

Company 2 (New Martinsville) was alerted Tuesday Evening for a Dryer Fire reported to be extinguished by home owner. Upon arrival, members of company 2 found smoke showing from a single family dwelling. Command notified Wetzel County 911 for a "working" Structure Fire Dispatch bringing Co. 4 to standby status. Shortly after being placed on standby Company 4 was alerted for a response to assist Company 2. Engine 5 and Squad 4 responded with 8 units and arrived to assist manpower on scene with the "mop up" phase of the incident. Units operated for approximately 30 minutes before returning in service.
