Just before noon on Wednesday May 26, Company 4 was alerted to assist Company 2 (New Mart.) with traffic control due to a power pole had fell over route 2 just inside the city limits of New Martinsville.  Squad 4 responded to the intersection of State Route 2 and Route 180 to divert traffic around the incident via cider run road and whiteman hill road.  Units operated for over 4 hours before being released.
