On Sunday January 24, Members from the Paden City Vol. Fire Co. completed a weekend seminar hosted by the West Virginia State Chief's Association at the State Fire Academy in Weston, WV.  The seminar was instructed by members of the Internation Association of Fire Chiefs and the Insurance Services Office.  Members learned about new safety programs, strategies and tactics, hazardous materials incident mitigation, state and national mutual aid programs, and the insurance grading schedule.  Attending members included: Chief - Jim Richmond, Captain - Tim McFadden, Asst. Captain - Charlie Racer, Lieutenant - Mark Doty, and Lieutenant - Brittany Henry.  Additionally members attended a roundtable to discuss fire department issues with the State Fire Marshal's Office, State Fire Commission, Department of Education, and WVU Fire Service Extension.
