Several members of the Paden City Volunteer Fire Company  and New Martinsville Fire Department recently completed a 40 hour course on pump operations.  The class was held in Paden City and taught by Chief Jim Richmond through the State Department of Education's Public Service Training Department (RESA).  This class certified the firefighters to operate the fire pumps found on fire engines, the training is a very critical to ensure safety and efficiency on the fire ground.
