Junior Firefighter Graduates from Academy
Thu. Jul 1st 2010

Junior Firefighter Kyle McFadden was chosen to represent the Paden City Volunteer Fire Company at the nation's largest junior firefighter camp held at the West Virginia State Fire Academy.  During the last week of June, young and perspective firefighters from over 10 states learned every facet of the fire, rescue, and ems fields.  The camp was broken down into specific topics for each day including: Truck Company Day, Engine Company Day, EMS Day, Rescue Company Day, Special Operations, and the Firefighter Olympics Challenge.  Instructors from 4 different states and backgrounds in both career, volunteer, and military were present to guide and drive the young individuals into long careers in the fire service.
